Biography:I am a writer/ photojournalist living in Maine U.S.A. Painting with watercolors and doing woodcarvings of waterfowl and gamefish helps keep the flame of creativity glowing.

I do readings of my prose and poems at the local coffehouse and have even been known to sing an Irish song or two.

I am a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and served in the First Marine Division during the Korean conflict.

People who have been an inspiration to me: Eddie Adams, Jim Bishop, Annie Dillard, David Douglas Duncan, Peter Jennings, Mary Ellen Mark, Donald Murray, James Natchwey and Elie Wiesel.
