Sweet sis o' mine,
I couldn't sleep, so as I often do in the wee early morning hours, I visited Our Echo to read a while. Imagine my delighted surprise to see your "In The Spotlight" story/bio here! Having grown up together in the same loving home, I can attest to the facts you've shared and the precious memories they conjure up as I reflect on our childhood. Thanks for sharing with other readers and giving them a glimpse about what growing up as a Georgia Peach was like half a century ago! You've written about a peaceful, priceless time in life and I'm so glad your sons and grandchildren will be able to read all about it, too. You're the best big sister anybody could ever hope for, and I'm so glad and thankful that you're mine!

Thank you, darling girl, for your sweet comments. We've counted our blessings many times for the way and the day in which we were reared, haven't we? It's so good to be able to share history with loved ones who recall the same things and who can trigger a memory with just a word or two in a conversation...that's one of the reasons I love you as my little sister. Hi David, yes Hilt was my brother ...he died at age 37 in July 1987 when a drunk driver hit his car on I-85 South coming back to LaGrange from Atlanta. I will email you and will be happy to fill in details. ~ Susan

Hi Susan/sis,
I just re-read your Spotlight post here and again enjoyed the trip back in time to our Georgia childhoods. Most parts of it I wish we could go back and enjoy again!
