No matter how hard times are you always can find someone else that had it much worse. I feel I can look up to your mother's life for inspiration and respect. Wonderful tribute to a wonderful woman Fred. Thanks for sharing, Gail

Excellent, Fred. You were blessed as I am.
My mother is as much a saint as yours was.

Nice tribute Fred. Written with love, I think. And that makes for the very best stories.

Fred:
A darned good story about a darned good woman who possessed strengths beyond her wildest dreams when put to the test. What a wonderful Mom to have, and to be a role model for her offspring.
Happy Mothers Day to Moms everywhere, and Fred, remember--'The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world'!!

How blessed you are to have had a caring Mom. There's an old Jewish proverb (I don't agree with it fully) that says, "God couldn't be everywhere, so He made mothers." While God can be everywhere, He has still blessed us with mothers. This is a most appropriate story for today, Mother's Day, 2008. Janet

Hi Fred,
Wow and WOW...Your mother was quite a lady, and you are so fortuante to have such a storehouse of good remembrances of her. Every sentence of this loving tribute is special, just like she was.
Thanks for telling us readers about her.
She sounds like the type of person that everybody truly liked.
Sincerely,
Sandi in FL.
