Dear dear Gail, I so loved the special way you've shared your family and Father's Day with us. Made me smile with tears in my eyes !! I thought the card said it all...the right tribute to an amazing Dad..
I loved the way you SAW the stars where the roses had been...it says a lot about the kind of person you are....and Shannon's gift...oh so incredible ! Brought to mind the amazing way the lily plant my brother Raj brought for our Mom from a college excursion just before his passing, offered her the loveliest blooms to honour her that day in June when she joined him after having fought the good fight and kept the faith. It has continued to do so every year since ! : )
Thanks for sharing.

Very moving. I had tears and a smile. All in all, it sounds like a wonderful Father's Day. BJ

You've been blessed with a wonderful family, Gail. But I kind of think you had a lot to do with the kind of people they are.

Hi Gail,
What an endearing Father's Day remembrance! I'm sorry it took me a while to get around to reading it (a month after the holiday), but now that I have, I shall re-read it to enjoy the photos as well as the content again this time. Your Clyde must be quite special, for his children to adore him so much.
Keep up the wonderful writings about everyday events that help to make up he fabric of family life.
Blessingss,
Sandi in FL.
