LETTER TO THE NEWSPAPER
By Fred Wickert

Iím sorry. The title is a bit misleading. It is misleading because it leads one to believe the letter to the newspaper is mine but it is not. I received a forwarded e-mail. It was to have me see a letter allegedly appearing in a Chicago newspaper. I do not know personally if it actually did or not but I believe that it did indeed.

The bias of the countryís newspapers in favor of President Obama is notorious. It is often said they are in the presidentís pocket. Chicago is his chosen hometown. It is where his political career began. In my opinion it is even more surprising the letter could even be printed in a Chicago newspaper but apparently it was.

The letter struck me so much because I had just posted an essay in which I made the point that the incompetence of President Obama was and is getting our people killed. What if I am wrong? What if what he is doing and failing to do is not incompetence at all? What if it is intentional? Impossible you say? Well, maybe yes and maybe no. That is why I am going to include that letter in the newspaper here. Then after you read it, you decide Ė if you can. I warn you in advance that it is a startling letter.

The letter is as follows:

OBAMA IS NO ORDINARY WEAKLING

Those who compare the bare-chested conqueror of the Crimea with the metro-sexual ruler of the United States and find our emperor weak to the point of deserving ridicule miss the essential strength of President Obama.

Itís no ordinary weakling who can turn a once-respected country into an international joke; reduce Congress to a gaggle of sniveling sycophants; turn the worldís finest medical system into a failed third-rate socialist nightmare with a stroke of his pen; shatter our Constitution without attempted recourse by the sons and daughters of frontiersman and pioneers whose blood was used to write that inspired document; and turn the people of our once-united states into a herd of competing minorities who, like suckling pigs are afraid to lose his place on the government teat should he raise his voice to protest the rule of our country.

So donít denigrate the nonentity ruler who has overcome his uncertain ancestry and ludicrous incompetence to do what no other king or dictator has been able to do in our 237-year history: He has destroyed America.
