"Who can exhaust a man?
Who knows a man's resources?"
-Jean-Paul Sartre

The movie Rocky is abouta man who goes deep inside himself to conquer his fears and push himself to victory. Last night at Philips Arena
the Atlanta Hawks had to go deep within and push past the fear to find victory and they did just that.

The home-team was down by two points with less than 14 seconds on the clock and each man had to go deep inside of themselves and demand the spirit of victory.

I am an existentialist and I believe the plight of the individual is always in the hands of that individual to be or not to be, to win or lose.

All year long the Atlanta Hawks have shown they are one of the best teams, if not the best team in the NBA.

In the final seconds of the game Al horford battled through all the defenders from the Washington Wizards to drop the most important two points of his career.

This morning on the front page of today's AJC Sports page Al Horford's picture says it all.
As I sat in Philip's Arena last night taking in the glory of the moment, I watched Al Horford's team members in the euphoria of eureka.

A quote came to me:

"We are twice armed if we fight with faith."
