Reflections

Reflection

At a palatial mansion
Deep into Gavalan Hills
Where rattle snakes abound
The coyote howls at night give you the chills

Lives a family
Near and dear to me
Grandson, Grandaughter
And my great grandson, you see

The picture that you view
Looking toward the west
Shows a beautiful colored sundown
But the pool reflection shows it best

The old style lamps
The black iron fence, so cool
The palm trees
Reflected in the pool

This photo shows it all
And if you look up high
A black cloudy figure
Like someone walking in the sky

I may be old and gray haired
And stubborn as a mule
But I can still see the beauty
In the reflection of this pool.
