Spreading the Word

I have been so distracted the last few months that I have failed to acknowledge the publishing contributions of several OurEcho members. I would like to take a moment to do that now.

This month Nancy Kopp had two articles published that detailed the posting of family memories to the web (specifically on OurEcho). One appeared in the November 10th Manhattan Mercury, a daily newspaper serving the Manhattan, Kansas area, and another in the Pebble Creek Post, a monthly 64-page newspaper that serves the Robson Senior Community of Pebble Creek and Tuscan Village in Goodyear, Arizona. Wanda Bates provided some special help in the Manhattan Mercury article and was featured with Nancy in the photograph accompanying the article.

Carol Garriot publishes a monthly 8-page newsletter, "Livin' on the Bay" (A Personal Promotion and Celebration of Life on the Texas Coast) in Seadrift, Texas. In the September issue, she incorporated an article about OurEcho into her “Coffee Chat" section.

Veronica Hogle consistently mentions OurEcho in newspapers that publish her work. This includes The North Buffalo Rocket, a weekly newspaper covering North, and West Buffalo and the The Carlow Nationalst, a newspaper covering Carlow, Ireland.

I would like to extend a personal “thank you” to each of these individuals and all the others that refer readers and contributors to OurEcho. Later this week, I’ll explain why these articles not only help OurEcho, but also those that contribute to it.
