When a Child Dies

You don't know
me Ashley,
but I know you

you're a star
so bright,
you're a shining
in the night

you're golden
pride with silver
and lace.

I know your
place. You're
now the child in
our dreams.

You're our Prince
at peace.

Richard L. Provencher
