My name is Veronica Elizabeth Foust, I am 44 years old and I am a mother of 5 children. I got started writing after finding my birth daughter Stephanie because I wanted to share my story with other women out there who may have been through the same issues that I have. I have always dreamed of writing my own life story and really thought about it a lot over the past 2 years.
I started journaling last year and that led to me writing articles about different issues that I feel strong about. I am really interested in writing self help books for women because I feel that I can share the things that I have dealt with in my life that would help other women.
Now that my children are all grown up I have a lot of time on my hands to do the things that I like and I have been working in my yard with flowers and gardening as well as my writing. I am just your everyday mother and wife trying to make it in this world. Writing has been helping me to deal with my past and understand the mistakes that I made in my life. I have 2 daughters and 3 sons and 2 grandsons. I was a teenage mother who at 16 years old gave my daughter up for adoption when she was 4 months old and on December 12, 2006 I found her after 28 years and I never thought I would be able to do that. Last November when I stopped working I decided that I had to at least try to find her before I left this world. Although the reunion has not gone well, I am still very happy that I got to see her and talk to her and know that she had a good home and good parents. I could not ask for anymore than that.
I feel good about the fact that I did turn my life around from being a single mother on welfare to going to work and getting my G.E.D. and finally meeting someone who really loved me and that my husband Richard and I have been married for 17 happy years. I am the oldest of 6 children. My mother passed away on June 9, 1999 and I have one sister who passed away of Leukemia on December 1, 1979. I am also proud to say that I have been able to have a good relationship with my father even after going through abuse as a child. I am a family type of person I love my family very much and I love to travel as well.
