A tiger sleeps upon my sofa and stalks round my easy chair and plays a game of hide and seek up and down my stairs. He hides in a dark corner to leap at me as i pass by or sits and gazes out the window at the birds as they fly by. He yawns and purrs upon my lap or plays with a ball of twine but he is not a jungle cat he is just this cat of mine. He only weighs a pound or two but his a heart is wild and free and though i may never pet a tiger he is close enough for me. |
