I remember Gene Autrey and Roy Rogers too, how i miss those cowboys and the things that they would do, they would always win no matter what the task, most times they wore a white hat but the Ranger wore a mask. But you always knew the bad guys by how he wore his gun upon his hip and the scar on his face or the snarl upon his lips and he never had a sidekick that made you smile you know when he said those funny phrases or played his fiddle or banjo and you always knew the "Duke" would have that one great fight but no one one was ever injured and it filled you with delight. But now all the movies are filled with great disasters from the total end of the world right up to the day after. But all of my old hero's have now disappeared it seems and they have been replaced by those"things"upon the screen, robots can now rule the world or aliens come from outter space, to try to eat our minds or anihilate the human race. I wish that i could return back to my youth of course where the hero got the girl, or at least would kiss his horse. then he would ride away into the setting sun singing a cowboy song as he his guitar strummed. |
