government lies,experimentation and coverups

I am a veteran of the u.s.military,but above that,i am a citizen of the United States,i am at the moment 67 years old,and needless to say,i have seen the elephant.
I have just read an article about the vaccines "issued" to our troop in preparation for the first gulf war,it stated that those troops were ordered to take the vaccine or get courts martialed,the author seemed to be upset by the fact that our government would ever do such a thing,well,hhmmm lets see now,seems i remember a little thing called LSD which is short for lysergic acid,a very potent hallucinogenic substance that produces vivid hallucinations,also it has an inate ability to reproduce those hallucinations in a series,making the person believe that they can see music,feel colors or see monsters.
Back in 1957,i read an article in "LIFE" magazine about an unusual mushroom found in mexico,in that article,a well known professor from a well known university took his family to mexico to study this astounding mushroom,along with the family,two as yet unnamed individuals,accompnied he and his family down to mexico,there followed a great deal of explanation as to the absolute harmlessness of this little mushroom,in fact,as i remember it,the great experimentor gave it to his wife and children,at the time the article was writen,this plant was being used in some religeous practices and did indeed produce the same symptoms as LSD,but of course LSD was either not invented,unknown,or relegated to the back burner in the better schools of medicine.
When you put into the context i read this in 1957,and as i remember it,the great drug culture did not get started untill the 1960,s and Mr.Leary did not make his great message of "TUNE IN,DROP OUT speech untill well after the new year of 1962,if i am off a couple of years then i beg your apology,also in the 1960's there was a rumor that leaked out that the u.s. had used LSD on some of the troops,i believe they were trying to find some way to either make the enemy an easy target or make our troops into mindless robots,you can make your own choice on which one of those scenarios you wish to believe,or not to believe,but i do know that the u.s. had no trouble in putting soldiers in harms way with the atomic bomb experiments.
Now i am about to get a little bit personal here,my step son,who happened to be gay,contracted the HIV/AIDS virus some time around 1980-1989 and died with it in 1994,he swore to me that he had read/heard that the u.s.government invented that virus,through his whole sickness i disavowed that notion,for i whole heartedly would not believe that our government was capable of such a henious act,these days i am not quiet so sure,was it a plot to rid the world of a whole section of our society as he thought?and i must say now,i do not know,but knowing what i DO know i would have to say that yes,they are capable of such an act,ok now you are going to say "hey,didn't that virus come from monkey's and mutate?"My answer is,yes there is a version of that virus known to be deadly to monkey's,but...how did it transfer to man without scientific experimentation? a sort of artificially enhanced version,a version that worked so well that it is now running rampant and almost uncontrolable all over the world and as far as i know,there is still no cure for it.But this is not about HIV/AIDS it is about a government that is CAPABLE of inventing these
germs,a government that is CAPABLE of experimenting on it's troops.So i leave you with this thought...DO YOU THINK?
