The American Dream
is now a nightmare,
bought on by greed
but no one cares,
and there is no work
for an honest man,
for all the factories
have moved to foreign lands,
and everything we need
comes from China these days,
made very cheap of course
by political slaves,
while our own prisons
are bursting at the seams,
meanwhile the rest of us dream
the American dream..
