The Bow River

is a morsel of beauty juiced
between hills
a spiritual journey.

From shoreline’s mist
barefoot among
ancient paths
tourists parade voices
in awesome waves

later at the campfire
as fireflies of light
digital cameras rekindle images
friends minus today’s cloak
of tourism share stories in
the fullness of telling.
