From Africa

Johannesburg is a memory of
mission houses
with blessings of love and
tear-scarred lives.
It is said to go well dear friends
not to spite but to forgive.

But man must abide in
reasons for living when prison
and apartheid rule. The
struggle for diamond mines
soaked in blood. Stay well
friends of friends.

Poverty pain and suffering was
1946 South Africa. Go
well old fathers. Go well.

Richard L. Provencher 2008
