No more to go a walking
along those woodland trails,
no more to come when I call
wagging His friendly tail.

His joyful bark is silent now
His favorite toys are put away
for Buck has gone to heaven
to run,to jump and play.

I know that He is dearly missed
and in my heart an empty space
but i wish to see Him once again
just to caress that gentle face.

He was my best friend on Earth
and most dearly is He loved,
but I guess that God did need
another good dog up above.

Buck had to go,but I know
it was not His choice
but He was called away
by Gods own loving voice.

But dearly is Old Buck missed
and dearly is He loved
but now He frolics with the Angels
in those woodland fields above.
In memory of Buck
my Dog and best friend
