In the valley of decision stands a bridge a spider made.
It’s poised full in the sunshine with nothing in the shade.
From a distance, in the sunlight, its passage seems secure,
and we know that His provisions are those that should endure.

As decision time grows closer and the bridge is to be crossed,
we think it looks impossible and fear we could be lost.
We questions His direction, “Are You sure this is the way?”
And we strain to hear His answer, but He’s silent as we pray.

The Spirit gives us comfort, and reminds us of His Word.
He tells us not to linger, but obey the things we've heard:
“I will lead you in a plain path. Just follow and obey.
Don’t question how I'm leading, but know I know the way.”

And so we take our doubts and fears and stuff them all aside...
realizing that the Master wants to teach us to abide.
With trembling steps we start across that bridge to something new,
and it’s not long ‘til we can see what He had in view.

Once we reach the far side of the bridge, the web falls down...
for there’s no turning back for those who'd wear a crown.
Then in that hour of victory, we hear Him say, “Well done.
If you’ll trust and follow Me, many victories will be won.”
