Time Went By

In the Garden of Eden lived Adam and Eve.

Satan waited in ambush and tried to deceive.

Eve ate the forbidden fruit and never asked why.

God was displeased and time went by.

Noah and his family built an ark out of wood.

They gathered animals, like they knew they should.

The rain fell from a darkening sky.

The flood wiped out all life and time went by.

Moses entered unto Pharoah's land.

The sun beat down on the burning sand.

Pharoah's heart was hardened, causing many to die.

God's people were released and time went by.

Goliath was a massive man.

David was brave and never ran.

He smote Goliath with a rock above the eye.

David became king and time went by.

Daniel was placed inside the lion's den.

His faith was greater than most men.

Angel's closed the lion's mouths, he watched them fly.

Daniel walked out alive and time went by.

God so loved the world that he gave his only son.

The world denied that he was the chosen one.

Revelation promises the end of the earth.

Heaven bound to those that prove their worth.

God looked down and started to cry.
