This morning when I awoken
Rays of sunshine through my window had broken
And I was glad.

I had grown weary of days of semi darken
While on the sofa I was parken
And I was sad.

Couldnít go outside without getting soaken
With a case of Cabin Fever I was heartbroken
And I was mad.

The Hillsides were a slippin
Mud into the homes was drippin
And that is bad.

With this weather front a passin
Another one is amassin
This new one not to be so ďRadĒ.

So back to the sofa Iíll be parken
And when the skies do darken
This I add

The rain we was badly needen
This to you I am conceden
Here in my humble pad

Maybe by next weeken
The Sunshine will be a streaken
And Iíll be glad.
