Korea Plowing time

Plowing Time in the Paddy

Got up early this morning
I put the yoke on Old Dok
We left our little village
After a short walk

I hooked Old Dok to the plow
We stepped into the paddy
Old Dok only moves
When he gets good and ready

We make one round
Old Dok had to rest
Seems like chewing his cud
Is what he does best

Just a few more feet
Were through for the day
Give Old Dok some rice straw
Then put him away.

Old Dok and I will be up early
After a bowl of rice and cup of tea
We’ll plow another paddy
Just Old Dok and me.
