Korean Kids and the Kansas Farmer

Korean Kids and the Kansas Farmer

Korean Kids and the Kansas Farmer

On the week ends
We always hiked into the hills
We would run into a bunch of kids
Pestering little pills

They followed along always asking
You have chocolate GI?
We always carried a few bars
Ed, Frank, John and I.

If you had a camera
They were ready at the drop of a hat
Posing for us to take their picture
We took care of that.

These kids posed in a graveyard
Posed on an ornate gravestone
Kids are Kids wherever you go
After a couple pictures they’d take off for home.

The older one carried
A sharpened hand scythe
He looked out for the others
And handled any problem that might arise.

They ran off happy
Headed for home to eat
That chocolate bar
They thought a fantastic treat.
