Korean Farmer headed to Seoul

To Market, To Market

Got his wares on his back and
Hes on the road again
Headed to Seoul and the Bung Chung
To sell his load for a few Yen.

Twenty miles to town
Hell stay with wife No. 2
Then head back after the sale
To the farm in Heng Choo.

I saw this Korean Farmer
Coming down the road
With his pipe in his hand
Carrying this heavy load

Taking short quick steps
Kinda shuffling along
With this cumbersome cargo
My he must be strong.

He carried it so easy
Not a grimace on his face
Looked easy for him carrying this load
Down the road to his next resting-place

On down the road later in the afternoon
He will arrive in Seoul and then
He can peddle his load
For two-ten Yen.
