Primary, June 2010

When we awoke this morning
We got the surprise of our lives
The election results show
We’re going to be ruled by someone else’s wives.

This trend is not good
Guys we’re losing out
Seems as if the females
Are the ones with all the “Clout”

Sharron, Meg, Nikki, Blanche and Carley
Are the names of the “Lady” winners
These are wealthy, successful females
Not just beginners.

So all you male voters
Who thought you were big time male “Jocks”
Got beat by your female candidate
Who really cleaned your clocks.

Maybe I shouldn’t be thinking
Woe is me, Alas and Alack
Hopefully these ladies can get the country
Back in the “Black”

“Good Old Boys”
Is passé, Old Pal
It’s going to be replaced
By “Good Old Gal.”
