Solar Power--not--

Solar Power—not—

As I gaze at this solar plant
In Andalusia, Spain
At the thousands of reflectors
Dotting the fruitless plain.

I can see how that this will ease
The use of electricity
Look at all the houses that are replaced
By giant reflectors, doncha see.

All those homes replaced
With a giant mirror
Won’t be using electricity
That’s for sure.

Acres and acres of land
Cannot be tilled
To raise food
For bellies to be filled

But by jove
We have lots of juice
Millions of Kilowatts
For the city folks to use.

What if a Volcanic eruption
Blocks out the sun
And the flood becomes a trickle
Will there be juice enough for everyone?
