Livin on a Buck

Livin Off a Buck

Hey Jeb, Buck for me
Doe for you
Grab a bowl
And get some of this possum stew.

With all this meat
For you and me
Itíll last until spring
Jus wait and see.

Venison will be great
Donít know about you
But I was getting tired
Of Possum stew.

Iím going to throw out
Those Raccoon steaks
They were turning green
Didnít look so great

When the ice on the river melts
And the river starts running again
Weíll hit it big
Using our pans

Josh, I think youíre dreamin
Time to be real
Iím kinda losin interest
I donít think itís such a big deal.

Weíve been out here
Two winters, you know
Weíve fought hunger, wolves
And mountains of snow.

For me when Spring
Finally rolls around
In this darned frozen forest
Iíll not be found

Iím going to get me a horse
Do that cowboyin thing
Where itís warm all the time
And feast on Buffalo Wings.

Find me a pretty gal
Maybe settle down
Buy me a home
In some small town

Live that good life
About which Iíve been told
Iím sick of this
Panning for gold.

Josh, itís been great
Been nice knowing you
You should leave this nightmare
And give it up too.
