Lord,when I was young
I wanted every thing to be new
but now I'm growing old
and soon I'll be with You,

these old eyes have grown dim
and it dont matter anymore
about those fancy clothes
and the new shoes that I wore.

I'll gladly wear an old frayed robe
and a tattered pair of wings,
if I can be with You Lord
and hear thoes Angels sing.

If I can sing in that Heavenly choir
with this old cracked voice of mine,
I'll gladly stand in the back row Lord
I wont have to be the first in line.

So hand me down that old bent Halo
and that pair of worn out wings,
and I'll gladly wear them proudly Lord
just to hear thoes Angels sing.
