That Unlucky Old Sun

That Unlucky Old Sun

I took this picture
And I must say
Looks as if “That Unlucky Old Sun”
Is having a bad hair day

Old Sol’s face has no color
No shining being allowed
Can’t seem to penetrate
That pesky gray cloud.

This also is the story of our lives
“O” woe is us
Troubles, trials and tribulations
Put up such a fuss.

But through all this misery
Happiness will come around
Like that “Unlucky Old Sun”
Those troubles that abound

Will soon evaporate
And slowly fade away
“That Lucky Old Sun”
Again will brighten your day.
