Am I Ever----

Am I Ever----

Am I ever going to see
A sense of civility
On the screen of my TV
Again?

November the second has come and gone
I donít enjoy hearing grown ups carry on
Their opponents lies they heap upon
As they campaign.

This has been a dirty election
Itís close your eyes and make your selection
In California weíre headed in one direction
What a pain.

These candidates looking for a Government job
So they can legally rob
The working slob
Itís insane.

The money wasted campaigning for Election day
When divided up Iíd say
Would put every legal citizen in the USA
On the Gravy Train.

Itís over, now back to serenity
No more anxiety
Iíll revel in amenity
No more strain.
