Red Sky in the Morning

Red Sky in the Morning

Red sky in the morning
Is this really a sailorís warning?
What if youíre dry lander
And if you take a gander
At the morning sky?

How could such a beautiful sight
With the reds so clear and bright
Give you cause for wonder
Of possible lightning and thunder
Can you tell me why?

This is the picture, doncha know
That I saw early this morning on my patio
As I stood in my bare feet
On the cold gray concrete
This beautiful scene caught my eye.

With my camera close at hand
Out here in Hemet land
I will now forever hold
The colored sky so bright and bold
Close by.

(I have a beautiful picture but it was to large, Sorry)
