The Young Man walked
slowly down the dusty street
so travel worn and weary
that He could hardly lift His feet,

He knocked upon a door
the first one He came too
"May I come in,He asked the Man
who answered,"May I abide with you?"

The weealthy man looked at the Traveler,
and the worn out clothes He wore,
"Go away,I dont know You"
He said, and quickly slammed the door.

The Young Man next came to a cabin,
where a Poor Man did reside
"Let Me in"He said,"I'm Hungry
I am weary and I'm tired."

"Come in." said the Poor Man
"sit down at the table there
I dont have much to offer,
but I will gladly share."

They sat and shared a meager meal
the Young Man and His Host,
it was no more than bread and wine,
a simple fare at most.

And as the Young Mna prepared to go
They both did walk outside,
The poor man asked His guest his name,
"Jesus of Nazereth, the Young Man replied.

I wonder how many of us today would invite a tired and weary traveler inside to dine with us,not many I am sure, but y'all have a wonderful Easter anyway.
