Now I am an Old Cowboy
and I aint one to bragg
for My Dog is a Mutt
and My Horse is a Nag.

And I've spent a Lifetime
out on this Old Range
but I'm headed East
cause it's time for a change.

For My Saddle is busted
and My Boots are worn out
and My Backside is weary
of that theres no doubt.

My Saddle Bag is empty
and My Rope is threadbare
and I'm heading East
without a moment to spare.

So farewell My ComPadres
I'll miss You it's true
but I'm heading East
and I hope You do too.

I'm busted and broke
and My Cinches are cracked
so I'm heading East
and I aint coming back!
