So, when I lived in Seattle I had to go to the DMV. It was very early in the morning, I had no makeup on and there was a huge line. I had to go to work so I was hoping they would call me soon. I started chatting with this guy while waiting. He was a writer or something. I thought we had a bit of a rapport and I thought he was cute. So as it became apparent that they were not gonna call me before I had to go to work I said I had to go. He asked me for my number and I said sure do you have a pen. I went to work and told my girlfriend how this cute guy asked for my number and I had no makeup on. I think it wasn't until later that night that it slowly dawned on me, the blank, kinda odd expression on his face when I asked him if he had a pen. He wanted my number in line not my phone number.
