Wolf Hunt…

The wolf hunt has been tentatively approved by the Fish, Wildlife and Parks in Montana. They have targeted 220 gray wolves for elimination by the licensed hunters. It is estimated that the wolf population in Montana is 566. Our neighboring state of Idaho is also making plans for a hunt to eliminate 400 gray wolves.

I know, the argument is that the government is re-imbruing the ranchers for their loss but it doesn’t cover it. Since the wolves were re-introduced about 15 years ago they have run in packs and destroyed thousands of calves and sheep. If the wolves would just kill for their own survival it wouldn’t be so bad but they are killers and go into a heard and kill just for pleasure leaving many animals dead on the ground with no intention of eating them.

Perhaps there some animal rights activists out there who would volunteer to catch the wolves and castrate the males.

We are not in the business of providing a smorgasbord for wolves.
