The Red Man cries a silent tear
and the White Man does the same,
but the Red Man cries for His Land so dear
and the White Man cries from shame.

For the Red Man loved this Land
it was His Native Home,
but the White Man came over
and claimed it for His Own.

Then the White Man polluted it's Rivers
and dammed up all it's Streams,
and sent the Red Man down a Trail of Tears
and destroyed the Red Mans dreams.

So the Red Man cries a silent Tear
and the White Man does the same,
but the Red Man cries for His Land so dear
while the White Man cries from shame.
