It seems I've walked a million miles
down Lifes long and rocky road,
and with every srep I've taken
the heavier became my load.

Tho oft times did a friend or two
travel with Me for awhile,
they mostly dropped by the wayside
after a few short miles.

And tho up ahead I cannot see
what lies around the bend,
I know that Sun is sinking low
and darkness is closing in.

And those Mountains they get higher
the further I travel along,
but I trust Someone will meet Me up ahead
and I'll not walk through that Darkness alone
