Happy Father’s Day, Pop…

My Pop was born 127 years ago and he has been gone for 52 years but I remember him as though it was yesterday.

Pop taught me many values of life and how to cope with incidents that come up daily, be they big or little. He taught me to never look back at bad things that might have happened. Pop lost his wife and ranch in Montana during the great depression but never talked about it. He had met my Mother and started a new life in Oregon where I was born.

Pop taught me to love life and all the good things that come with it. In short he taught me how to love.

I could go on and on but I will end this by saying, “I love you, Pop, and thank you for bringing me into the world, with a little help from Mom. I look forward to meeting up with you again. I’m sure we will have many memories to keep us busy for eternity.”

I love you, Pop!

Charles
