Though Each of Us to Our Selves deny
and seek to evade with Self told lie,
that all to soon that future day
is here, and We upon our death bed lay.
We look in the mirror but cannot see,
that one day "You" will cease to be,
and the death of "Psyche" we all fear
that lurks in our future, is always near.
For the race to death was begun,
before we were born, and has been won
ere ever it started in Mothers Womb,
for therein, that grim reaper looms.
Both Heaven and Hell We do confess,
yet live our lives expecting less,
and we think yon mirror lies.
Though truth be there, before our eyes,
What lies yon mirror speaks,
to each of us, it oft repeats,
It's only truth that non accept
that though "I" Live "I" also die.
