In Octobers Land it's always Fall
and the Trees are always bare,
and there the Owls always call
Summer's Sun never shines there,

Crows glean in empty Fields
disdaining Tattered Scarecrows
trying to find a meager meal
where nothing ever Grows.

Among the Dead Corn Stalks
where once the Field Mice Roamed
Cold Winter winds now Walk
and like Lost Souls do Moan,

For this is October's Land
a Land thats Dead and Bare
forever Clutched in Winters Hand
and it's always lonely there.
