Hi guys, this was written by a waitress where I coffee-up every morning. She wrote it for her friend who is in much pain.
If you would like to comment on it I will pass them on to her.

I Hear the Cry…
By Linda McQuiston

I hear a cry. Someone is in pain. I look around and see no one. It is me, I am crying. Crying in pain, crying for help. Can you hear me? Look at me.

I turn around and look out my window. Look, they are running, walking, laughing. So happy I cry not for me. I remember when. Oh, the pain. When I could walk run or laugh. No pain. I cry.

Can’t move the pain…Look at me. Don’t you hear me? Can’t you see me? Please help me, I cry. Can you hear me? Look at me. Please hear my pain, the cry of pain.

I turn from the window and there you are, looking at me. You see the pain, you see the tears, and you hear the cries.

We are both in pain now.

Yes, there you are in the mirror. You see me. You hear me cry. Oh, the cry of pain.
Look at me.
