The tax collector had ,for sometime now, been after my Uncle Fossill to pay his back tax's on his small farm up there in Podunk County Tennessee, however, times being hard and money being rather hard to come by,Uncle Fossill had been telling him to come back next week, next day or next month. But now the time had arrived and the tax man would not take any excuses,so Uncle Fossill asked him to have a seat out on the back porch of his rather small log cabin and told the tax man that He would return shortly with the cash.True to his word,Uncle Fossill returned promptly with a plastic sack and handed it to the tax man.who reached greededly into the bag and retrived a stack of bills,Oh my Gawd! said the tax man, whats that awful smell, whats this brown stuff all over this money?where have you been keeping it?said the tax man as he fastidiously wiped his hands on his white shirt.
Well, said Uncle Fossill with a huge grin, seeing as I dont trust no bank no more than I trust a tax collector,I been a keeping that there money in a bucket down yonder in the outhouse where it couldent be seen.
