That Old House where I grew up
was Haunted so They say,
but I never saw a Ghost
not in that Old House anyway.

Oh I was Scared to go up stairs
when there was'nt any light,
and sometimes the old floors creaked
as if Somthing walked at Night.

And Doors would sometimes open
as if by temselves,
and Things got moved around
if you placed them on the shelves.

And I sometimes heard some rustlings
behind those old wooden walls,
but I always tried to tell myself
it was just a squrill, thats all.

And sometimes I would Think
that a Shadow creeped toward me
but with a second glance,
there was nothing there to see.

So if That Old House was Haunted
it was only by Old Memories
and Echoes of past inhabitants
through all the bygone centuries.
