Now I'm and Old Soldier
but I dont march anymore,
because I'm Old and I'm Tired
and My Body is sore.

But My Heart it is Strong
and I still Love a Parade,
and I still get a Thrill
when Old Glory is Waved.

And I remember the Wars
and My Comrades Who Died,
to keep that Flag Flying
and I Salute it with pride.

And all My Dear Comrads
up in Heaven above,
I remember your Sacrifice
and Your Names with Love.

And I know where You are
and I know where You'll be
You're in Soldiers Heaven
up there waiting for Me.
